Intermediate Bolt Rifle – OPEN

$185.004 hours of comprehensive training helping you further master the bolt rifle platform. Continue solid foundations for future shooting goals, get ready for a hunt, or prep for one of our long range classes – Don’t miss this informative class!
If you are not a Birchwood member a $10 guest pass fee will be charged.
– Sight In check
– Building a shooter’s platform / Basic accuracy to 300 yards
– Building and proving DOPE for your rifle 100-300 yards
– Intermediate Ballistics – Bullet drop and how to calculate to compensate
– MIL / MOA dial or hold over for hits at various distances
– Heart Rate Stress Test and accuracy after effort
Doppler Radar and Downrange Cameras assist for this session for increased accuracy and time spent shooting instead of walking to check targets.
Required Equipment:
– Bolt action Rifle and all available magazines if applicable
MUST BE SIGHTED IN AT 100 YARDS
– Scoped optic, minimum low power 3
– 40 rounds of factory loaded ammo
– Range appropriate clothing – sturdy footwear, brimmed hat, wind / waterproof layers
Provided Equipment:
– Eye and ear protection
– Rifle rests and sand bags
– Sight in / maintenance tools
– Targets and backers, steel targets
– Instruction / backup rifles
Rental Rifles are available – $25 includes an appropriate rifle, magnified optic, bi-pod, shoulder pad and shooting mat.
